Next Stage Rental and Market is a resource for the Twin Cities theatrical, film, and event community, offering rental scenery and props as well as a store to purchase reclaimed and salvaged building materials and scenery. Our mission is to create a circular economy by rescuing scenery and materials that would normally go to the landfill. We also make new products with the materials we receive.

Next Stage was created to fill a gap in the Twin Cities' robust theatrical scene. There are SO many amazing designers, artisans, and craftspeople making wonderful props, puppets and show specific items. But there was no central place for those beautifully crafted items to go once the show was over. We wanted to be that place where theaters and craftspeople could donate or consign their wares so others in the community might be able to use them.

We were founded in 2021 and opened our doors in March of 2022. We share our warehouse space with a costume rental company called The Costume Collective. We are employee owned.
